These washed cotton pillowcases get softer with every wash, and after a month they're my favorite part of the bed. The gingham checks faded just a little, which honestly makes them look more lived-in than new.
The washed cotton feels soft right out of the package, and the gingham pattern looks just like the photo. Only gripe is they wrinkle a fair bit after washing, but I don't mind since I'm not ironing pillowcases anyway.
The gingham print is really cute in person and the washed cotton has that nice broken-in feel. But after two washes the pillowcases already look a bit faded, and they wrinkle like crazy unless I pull them straight from the dryer.
