Washed it once before putting it on and it came out even softer, no shrinking at all. The elastic corners actually stay put on my deep mattress, which my old sheet never did. Linen really does sleep cooler than cotton.
The pine green stripe is even nicer in person, deeper and less minty than the photos. It's a proper linen weave too, a bit crisp out of the packet but it breathes so well overnight.
The color is exactly what I hoped for, and the linen feels substantial but not scratchy against my skin. I've washed it twice already and the stripes haven't faded or warped one bit, which is rare for a patterned sheet.
