These washed up so soft after the first laundry cycle, no stiffness at all like the cheaper linen I've bought before. The oatmeal shade is a warm neutral that works with basically any table setting, and the four napkins are generously sized for actual lap use.
The overturned seam gives these a really clean edge, no fraying after several washes. They're a bit bigger than my old napkins, which works great for lap coverage during messy dinners. Oatmeal color is warm and neutral, matches everything.
The stonewashed linen is so soft right out of the package, no stiff break-in period at all. The oatmeal shade goes with basically everything on my table, and the overturned seams have held up perfectly through several washes already.
