I wasn’t sure how the colour would look in person, but the berry and white gingham is such a rich, warm pink-purple that it completely transforms the bedroom. The stonewashed linen felt soft and lived-in from the very first night, no stiff break-in period at all.
The berry gingham pattern is even prettier in person, that pink-purplish hue feels so fresh for spring. The Portuguese linen is already soft from the stonewash but still gives that crisp, airy feel I wanted for warm nights.
The stonewashed linen has that perfect lived-in softness right out of the package, no breaking-in period needed. I've washed it twice already and the gingham pattern hasn't faded or shrunk one bit, which honestly surprised me for a linen duvet.
