The red stripe is such a rich, warm color in person, and the soft texture makes it feel cozier than a standard sheet. It fits the mattress snugly with no bunching after a night of my kid tossing around, and the cotton washes nicely without fading.
The cotton's got this gentle ribbed feel that's soft right out of the package, and the auburn stripe adds just enough color to make the bed look pulled-together without being loud. My son's been sleeping on it for a week now and it's held up through two washes with zero pilling.
The stripe pattern is subtle enough to not clash with the patterned blanket I threw on top, and the fitted corners actually stay put after a night of my kid tossing around. Washing it twice already and the red hasn't faded or wrinkled up, which is a win for a kids sheet.
