I've washed these four napkins three times now and they somehow got softer each time instead of stiffening up. The linen-cotton blend has a nice weight to it, heavy enough to actually stay on your lap during dinner.

The gingham pattern is cute and the linen-cotton blend feels substantial, but they came out of the wash pretty wrinkled and I'm not about to iron napkins for a weeknight dinner. Fine for casual use, just know they need a good press if you want them looking crisp.
