This washed cotton flat sheet has that broken-in softness right out of the package, no vinegar soak or multiple washes needed. It stays breathable on warm nights and the matte finish looks relaxed rather than shiny on the bed.

This is my first washed cotton percale sheet and the matte, slightly crisp feel is exactly what I wanted for summer. It breathes so much better than my old sateen set, and the loose weave keeps it from feeling stiff.

The first wash softened it up like magic, no ironing needed, which is exactly what I wanted from a percale sheet. The matte finish feels crisp but not stiff, and after a few nights I can tell this cotton is going to hold up well for years.
